As many of you know, Apple.Inc has just introduced new notebook computer, Macbook Air.
I’ve waited for almost a year to get a new notebook from Apple but this is not what I really want. I am currently using 4-year-old IBM Thinkpad R51, which has 15 inch monitor, optical drive, full-size keyboard, Gigabit Ethernet, and so on. Macbook Air doesn’t have these features except full-size keyboard. I may bring it to school to do some assignments but I’m sure not everyday. I have no reason to spend a lot of money to get the world’s thinnest notebook.
So I became one of the people who bought Macbook Pro on the day Apple had introduced Macbook Air. This guy is making a kind of same decision with me from same point of view. Yeah, we don’t need that portability!! But he decides to wait.
I hope they won’t update Macbook Pro in next couple months…

I held off on a new computer because of macworld myself, but it looks like nothing that thrilling came out.
I would really need at least one more USB port for my liking. I know everything is wireless these days, but 1 usb port is just not enough.
To the Air’s credit, I have almost everything I need portably, already stored online. That’s just me personally, I know some people need to carry around large amounts of files where ever they go.
