Memory upgrade

I bought 2 of Buffalo’s DDR2 RAM online last week for my MacbookPro and I got them yesterday.

Here is showing how to upgrade your Macbook or MacbookPro.

It took only 3 minutes to detach old ones and install new memory but I had to get 00 screw to open the computer and it won’t come with normal tool set so you have to make sure that you have tiny size screw before get started.

Now, my MacbookPro has 4GB of memory. All programs that I have installed runs super fast!! (note: larger capacity of main memory does not make fast speed of processing )

Apple reduces their books’ prices

Apple’s Macbook and Macbook Pro have just updated this morning. The biggest change is that Macbook Pro now has Multi-touch pad which gives you more flexibility to play with screen and the prices. According to my memory, those macbooks cost $100 more than they are now.

Air is not for me

As many of you know, Apple.Inc has just introduced new notebook computer, Macbook Air.

I’ve waited for almost a year to get a new notebook from Apple but this is not what I really want. I am currently using 4-year-old IBM Thinkpad R51, which has 15 inch monitor, optical drive, full-size keyboard, Gigabit Ethernet, and so on. Macbook Air doesn’t have these features except full-size keyboard. I may bring it to school to do some assignments but I’m sure not everyday. I have no reason to spend a lot of money to get the world’s thinnest notebook.

So I became one of the people who bought Macbook Pro on the day Apple had introduced Macbook Air. This guy is making a kind of same decision with me from same point of view. Yeah, we don’t need that portability!! But he decides to wait.

I hope they won’t update Macbook Pro in next couple months…
