Sony Computer Entertainment Japan (SCEJ) said they will start to sell silver-colored PS3 from March 6, 2008 in Japan only. Off course, this new model does not have backward compatible, so you can’t play PS2 games. The price is approximately $380 Canadian.
So there are black, white, and silver PS3s in the Japan. (wait a minute, black, white, and silver are a color variation that Apple uses for their Macbooks) I hope we will have more color variation in North America as well.
I forgot to note that the new silver PS3 has 40GB of hard drive.
